Terms and Conditions of Use

The use of all WorldEducation.net and World Education, LLC (“WE”) pages, sites, and content (“site”) located within the worldeducation.net domain is subject to the terms and conditions as defined below (“terms”) unless otherwise specified on each specific site. Any use of these web pages constitutes an agreement to abide by the Terms, which may be amended at any time by WE by posting the amended terms on this site. These Terms grant a limited license for personal, non-commercial use to access the site. Any tampering with or use of the site not permitted by these Terms will immediately terminate the license granted by WE.

Electronic and Digital Communications

WE is an online company which primarily operates electronically and/or digitally, including our method of communication with customers. Any use of worldeducation.net or electronic communication such as email, form submission, etc., constitutes consent that WE will communication with you electronically via email, via online websites, via texts etc. Additionally, any request for phone communication by submitting a valid phone number, constitutes acknowledgement that any subsequent calls to or from a representative of WE may be recorded or monitored for quality and training purposes. Such communications will satisfy any applicable legal requirement that such communication be in writing or consent be given for these activities. 

Copyright and Trademarks

All content, materials, associated rights, and all intellectual property which comprise a part of the content, as well as all marks, logos, graphics, and trade names used by WE and in association with the site, are owned or licensed by WE. As such they may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, resold, or otherwise exploited for any commercial use either in full or any portion thereof without the express written consent of WE. 

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

THIS SITE IS PROVIDED BY WE ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. WE MAKES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, AS TO THE OPERATION OF THIS SITE, OR THE INFORMATION, CONTENT OR MATERIALS INCLUDED ON THIS SITE. YOU EXPRESSLY AGREE THAT YOUR USE OF THIS SITE IS AT SOLE RISK. FULLY PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESSES AND IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING FROM THE USE OF THIS SITE, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, AND PUNITIVE DAMAGES. 

Assignability

The Terms are specific to each user and may not be assigned to anyone. 

Enforceability

If any provision of the Terms is determined to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable in any respect, for any reason, the validity, legality, and enforceability of that provision in every other respect and the remaining provisions of the Terms shall not be in any way impaired. 

Governing Law, Venue

These Terms, all intellectual property issues and your rights and obligations shall be governed by the laws of the United States of America and the State of Texas governing contracts wholly entered and wholly performed within the State of Texas. Any dispute arising under this Agreement shall be resolved in the state or federal courts or Tarrant County, Texas, and each party hereto waives any objection to venue and hereby submits to the personal authority of such courts.

Refunds/Cancellations

Students who request a refund within 72 hours (until midnight of the third day excluding Saturdays, Sundays and legal holidays) from their program start date will be eligible for a refund up to their full tuition amount. If the student has accessed any portion of the program or been sent materials which are not returned in new/unopened condition, the cost of these items may be deducted from the refund amount. Items which may not be returned such as electronic textbooks or software licensed to the student will also be deducted from the refund amount.  Refunds will be made back to the person or parties who originally purchased the course, including 3rd parties such as state or federal parties, and may not be returned directly to the student. Payment Plan or Loan students may not be refunded for any fees associated with establishing their financing plan. Students requesting a refund after this 72-hour period will not be eligible for any refund in full or in partial. After this refund period, students may cancel their program without a refund or contact our customer service staff for assistance in transferring or extending their program (fees and conditions may apply).Refund requests must be submitted in writing through the methods below. Rights in respect of personal data

This section applies if you are located in the EU.

In accordance with applicable privacy law, you have the following rights in respect of your personal information that we hold:

1. Right of access and portability. The right to obtain access to and to receive your personal information.

2. Right to rectification. The right to obtain rectification of your personal information without undue delay where that personal information is inaccurate or incomplete.

3. Right to erasure. The right to obtain the erasure of your personal information without undue delay in certain circumstances, such as where the personal information is no longer necessary in relation to the purposes for which it was collected or processed.

4. Right to restriction. The right to obtain the restriction of the processing undertaken by World Education on your personal information in certain circumstances, such as where the accuracy of the personal information is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of that personal information.

5. Right to object. The right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal information, and to object to processing of your personal information for direct marketing purposes, to the extent it is related to such direct marketing.
